Monserrat

Good morning!  Safe arrival to Can Serrat in El Bruc! We decided to stay awake and take a walk, plus Marcel the director said the dinner bell was ringing at 7:00. We have met Jemma from Boston, Vikram from India, Helen (children's poetry) from Australia, Andrew & Amanda, Aussie too. They are all writers. The can serrat crew are so nice & funny, we played cards after dinner. Sophia spoke to us on three languages she said because so many ple had been coming thru. From the farm house, you can walk up the hill 5 min and be at the foot of Mon Serrat mtns. There are almond and olive trees. The last pic is from the room balcony. At dinner, Marcel showed us how they rub garlic, tomato half, olive oil and sea salt on bread slices for the table. This week we will get our bearings in El Bruc, take a bus to Barcelona and probably be the only ones in studio besides one other, Arriel from France. There are mostly writers here in June. Oh! They would LOVE a nest, like the one we did in our comm. garden on Wylie Street. Pool news: we heard there is one opening next week:).
