Today we went to check out the architecture of grand Gaudi with Helen and Gemma. We started at Sagrada Familia. Long tkt line and could have brought them online...next time and will do for Picasso.
Every detail of Gaudi's work is inspired by nature. A door, tower or column is not just a rectangle, cone or square. Columns and supporting arches from trees:
We made it to the tower! They hope to finish Sagrada by 2026, 100th anniv of Gaudi birth & death in June.
Gemma and I decided to check out one more spot Casa Milà.
